A farcical "two"hander that follows Ger G Ger Kavanagh on a not so epic journey across the Irish sea.
A simple minded young Ger, will do anything for the great cause of Ireland and when tasked with such a vital mission, how could he say no.
BUT.. outside of the Journey on stage follow the madness that overcomes the room as the show itself holds on for dare life.
A show in a bag and on a bag,Ger will do anything to get his dance with Nadine.
Columbia March debuted in 2022 in Camden London. In 2023 it made its Irish Premier as part of Dublin Fringe. In 2025 Columbia March will take its bow at the Bridge House Theatre London

Writers note
"The Journey began in a Cafe Nero, West Street, Drogheda I was thinking of things to write, I knew it had to be mad and crazy because that's all my head would allow at the time. I sat and toyed with ideas and then Gary walked in and the rest is history. Orange boats, protestant seagulls and a bag of cocaine. This show is one of my COVID BABIES, so to speak, I needed to let it out and pick everything back up. I wanted to create a show that got back to minimalistic ways of telling stories and letting performers have at it. I was inspired by Fishamble's "Show in a Bag" system , something that could be picked up and brought anywhere. I love the idea of doing this piece in random loactions and bringing people to theatre in non theatrical settings. Sometimes people can't or don't want to make it to the theatre, fine... I'll bring it to you. This has been one of the best, if not the best reahearsal and show run I could've asked for. It's a mad piece and I hope you enjoyed it... Remember, it's just theatre darling!" - Joe x
